Details: The USO is opening its 125th center, USO El Paso, on Fort Bliss
Army Post. The 4,000 square-foot facility will service the
installation's increasing military population of more than
36,000. The new center will offer free Internet and e-mail
access, lounge areas, entertainment and recreational events as
well as implement USO programs.

Invitees include congressional and local officials, Fort Bliss
Base Command, corporate sponsors, and USO World Headquarters and
USO El Paso leadership.

Platinum-recording band Shinedown will close the day's
festivities with a performance at Fort Bliss's McGregor Range at
7:00 p.m.
