Tentative Agenda for 'Extreme Dream' Home Build in Armada Twp., Mich. by ABC-TV's 'Extreme Makeover: Home Edition' and American Heartland Homebuilder

WHO: American Heartland Homebuilder (http://www.americanheartlandhomes.com/ ). To help with this project, American Heartland has asked longtime friend Anthony Lombardo of Lombardo Homes (http://www.lombardohomes.com/ ) and financial partner, Fifth Third Bank (http://www.53.com/ ), to assist.

WHAT: The local builders will join "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" and some 3,000 workers and community volunteers to make a family's dream come true by working around the clock to build an "Extreme Dream" home in one week.

The Gilliam family received the "Good Morning!" wake up call on August 7 from ABC's Ty Pennington informing them that their home was selected to receive a makeover.

WHEN:

Tuesday, Aug. 8 - Show and construction crews set up and prepare for build

Wednesday, Aug. 9 - At approximately 9:00 a.m., during the ceremonious "Braveheart," American Heartland's CEO Rick Merlini leads volunteers in front of the old home to motivate them for the task ahead; at approximately 12:00 p.m., demolition of the old house begins, followed by construction of the new "Extreme Dream" home

Thursday, Aug. 10 - At approximately 10:00 a.m., the first wall is raised; from about 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., the builders' and trades' children, who will see firsthand their "hero" parents at work, will design patches for a commemorative quilt that will be presented to the Gilliam family; and at approximately 8:00 p.m., Governor Jennifer Granholm is expected to attend and assist

Friday, Aug. 11 - Construction (painting, driveway, landscaping, final grading, etc.) continues

Saturday, Aug. 12 - At approximately 9:00 a.m., Gubernatorial candidate Dick DeVos is expected to attend and assist; construction (interior work) and festivities continue

Sunday, Aug. 13 - At approximately 1:00 p.m., American Heartland's CEO turns over the keys of the "Extreme Dream" home to the "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" designers for furnishing and final touches

Monday, Aug. 14 - "Move that Bus!" ... At approximately 1:00 p.m., the Gilliams' new home is revealed to the family
