Balloting, Video Game and Consumer Sweepstakes Underway for the 2006 Hank Aaron Award Presented by CENTURY 21(R)

PARSIPPANY, N.J., Aug. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Century 21 Real Estate LLC, the "Official Real Estate Organization of Major League Baseball(R)," today announced that Major League Baseball fans can cast their votes for the 2006 Hank Aaron Award Presented by CENTURY 21 via MLB.com or http://www.century21.com/ from now through September 30. Voting consists of two phases that will decide this year's National League and American League recipients of the Hank Aaron Award Presented by CENTURY 21.

In addition to deciding the recipients of the 2006 Hank Aaron Award via the online balloting process, consumers will have the opportunity to win a trip for four to a game of the 2006 World Series through the Hank Aaron Award Presented by CENTURY 21 Sweepstakes. The grand-prize winner will also have the chance to be on the field for the official presentation of the 2006 Hank Aaron Award Presented by CENTURY 21.

To help promote voting for the 2006 Hank Aaron Award Presented by CENTURY 21 and the related consumer sweepstakes, the CENTURY 21 System created a new :30-second television commercial that will debut the week of August 7 on ESPN.

In addition to the broadcast television execution, the System's promotion of the Hank Aaron Award includes online initiatives such as a Home Run Derby-themed online video game hosted by MLB.com and created in partnership with BrandGames, a New York-based digital marketing company.

The video game lets consumers participate in a virtual home run hitting contest and offers online players the opportunity to access balloting for the 2006 Hank Aaron Award, register for the Hank Aaron Award Presented by CENTURY 21 Sweepstakes or conduct a real estate property search. The online video game allows players to send a link to a friend via e-mail alerting them to the game, voting for the award and registering for the sweepstakes.

ESPN.com will feature a dedicated Hank Aaron Award Presented by CENTURY 21 section throughout the voting period, which will include the history of the award and past winners, MLB player of the week features as well as links to http://www.century21.com/ to access voting for the Award.

The Hank Aaron Award Presented by CENTURY 21 is given annually to the best overall offensive performer in both the American League and National League. Originally introduced in 1999, the award was created to honor the 25th anniversary of Hank Aaron breaking Babe Ruth's all-time home run record.
