The National Society of Collegiate Scholars and Roadtrip Nation Team to Help College Students Define Their Roles in Life

The National Society of Collegiate Scholars and Roadtrip Nation Team to Help College Students Define Their Roles in Life

WASHINGTON, Aug. 29 /PRNewswire/ -- The National Society of Collegiate Scholars (NSCS) and Roadtrip Nation partner to answer a question that plagues college-aged youth: What do you want to do with your life? By signing on as a media partner for the upcoming Roadtrip Nation series airing on PBS, NSCS continues its efforts at honoring and inspiring members and connecting them with opportunities such as Roadtrip Nation.

Roadtrip Nation follows groups of students as they man green RVs and canvass the United States interviewing an eclectic group of leaders to learn how they discovered and built a life around their passion. The road trips are inspired by the ambiguity youth face in defining life, career and education paths. To empower NSCS members, Roadtrip Nation offers Roadtrip Grants that assist them in hitting the road and interviewing prominent business and community leaders.

"NSCS is proud to partner with Roadtrip Nation for its upcoming series. NSCS champions youth ingenuity and initiative, and partnering with Roadtrip Nation will allow us to engage and inspire our members to explore their future and discover unlimited possibilities," said NSCS Executive Director Steve Loflin.

Roadtrip Nation founder Mike Marriner also shares Loflin's enthusiasm, "We're honored and excited to partner with The National Society of Collegiate Scholars, an organization that shares Roadtrip Nation's core ethos: individuality, passion and exploration. NSCS empowers its members to define their own roads in life, and they have really rallied around this movement."

The Roadtrip Nation documentary begins airing September 1 on PBS. Visit http://www.roadtripnation.com/ to catch the series on your local PBS station.
