The True Story of Chris Paciello
HOLLYWOOD, Fla., July 20 /PRNewswire/ -- On July 24th, Prestige Entertainment in association with Steve Martorano and Alan T. Brown will host a private gathering at Cafe Martorano for the producers and some of the cast members of the feature film "Unmade Man," based on the book "Mob Over Miami" by Michele McPhee. "Unmade Man," depicts the shocking true story of Chris Paciello, the Staten Island hood who became the toast of South Beach until his murderous past caught up with him.
Cast members Vincent Pastore, William DeMeo, and Tony Darrow along with writer/director Paul Borghese will be present to provide the inside scoop about the feature film "Unmade Man." The movie will take viewers from the brutal underworld of Staten Island mobsters to the glitzy world of the rich and famous in South Beach. Filming will begin in fall 2006 and take place in Brooklyn, Staten Island and Miami.
Paul Borghese and William DeMeo recently teamed up for the film "Searching For Bobby D," which will be released in late 2006. The film, which Borghese co-produced with DeMeo and directed, has already won numerous honors including Best Comedy and Audience Favorite at several international film festivals. Borghese is currently writing the screenplay adaptation of the book "Mob Over Miami," The Chris Paciello Story, and is slated to direct. As an actor, Borghese is probably best known for playing Yogi Berra in the HBO movie 61*. DeMeo is best known for his roles in "Wannabes," "Analyze That" and "Hackers" and can be seen on "The Sopranos" as one of Christopher's crew.
The event is from 7 PM - 10PM at Cafe Martorano, 343 East Oakland Park Blvd & AIA, Fort Lauderdale.
