Borders(R) to Open Store in San Francisco's Westfield Centre
ANN ARBOR, Mich., Aug. 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Borders will open a 20,000- square-foot store in San Francisco, Calif., at the end of September. The store's location will be on the fourth floor of the San Francisco Centre, at 845 Market St. In addition to the new store, Borders will operate a newsstand in the mall's concourse area adjacent to the Powell Street BART station.

The new site was selected based on a variety of factors, including consumer demographics, the strength of the co-tenants, traffic patterns, visibility and the overall attractiveness of the new site. The store will be the fourth Borders store to open in the San Francisco metro area.
