Subscribers Pump Up the Volume With New July Content

The good vibrations begin on WORLDSPACE's international pop channel, UPop (channel 29), which is featuring a new show, "Casbah After Dark." Hosted by the legendary Miles Copeland, former manager of the Police, Sting, and many others, this show provides listeners with an exciting fusion of Middle Eastern and Western music. The hits keep coming on UPop when Katie Melua, Europe's biggest selling female artist for the past two years, performs live at B.B. King's Blues Club in New York City. UPop's Ted Kelly will host this global broadcast on WORLDSPACE around the world and in the United States on XM. It will be the start of a month-long celebration of Melua's latest album Piece by Piece.
