Vyvx Provided Backhaul Support, Carried Broadcast Over Network
TULSA, Okla., July 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Vyvx, a Level 3 company, announced today that it provided FOX Sports with the High Definition television (HDTV) video backhaul of the Major League Baseball(TM) All-Star Game(TM) from Pittsburgh, PA on July 11, 2006.
FOX Sports carried the All-Star game and relied on Vyvx's extensive network footprint to transport both the standard-definition and high-definition game feeds. Multiple domestic and international broadcasters received the All-Star game feeds over Vyvx's award-winning network, enabling millions of viewers worldwide to enjoy the event.

During the month of June, Vyvx provided hundreds of feeds in both standard and high definition for the NBA regular season and playoffs, including the NBA Finals for ABC Sports, featuring Dallas and Miami; as well as feeds for the NHL payoffs, including the Stanley Cup Finals between Edmonton and Carolina for NBC Sports.
