BOSTON, July 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Hall Of Fame Magazine, LLC, a Massachusetts-based company with offices also located in New York and Los Angeles, has launched its new, online magazine and multifunctional website, HallOfFameMagazine.com.
The website will be a lifestyle, destination and news-magazine featuring many of the most highly respected writers in North America. The site will also serve as an Internet portal for the Hall of Fame and Sports Museum Industry.
HallofFameMagazine.com -- or, HOFMAG.com -- is headed by long-time marketing executive and publisher, Gil Vieira. Joining Vieira on the management team are CBS News Chief Investigative Correspondent and eight-time Emmy Award-winner, Armen Keteyian, Warner Bros., TV Producer and Emmy Award-winner, Frank Pace, plus Mark Igo and Gregg Manning of bbi Marketing -- a Boston-based marketing and ad agency.
Promoted as "Your Connection to Greatness," the magazine will feature stories about people and events of great distinction that have and will continue to influence our daily lives.
HOFMAG.com will offer a "who's who" of contributing writers. The magazine's roster of writers include Babe Ruth biographer Robert Creamer, who was one of the original editors at Sports Illustrated, political pundit and DC insider Juan Williams, CNN's Jim Huber, rock & roll historian Dave Marsh, Stanford University Law Professor William Gould IV, longtime ESPN veteran Charley Steiner, Emmy-winning actor and radio personality Jay Thomas, WFAN's Ann Liguori and a host of others.
"We are privileged and honored to have quality people join our HOFMAG.com team," says Vieira. "It was extremely important to gather great writers to provide editorial excellence befitting the great people and places we'll feature. The prestigious industry deserves the best."
The HOFMAG.com website will also feature an industry information section, which will serve as the industry's Internet portal. This section will gather information about all types of halls -- including, but not limited to -- sports, music, television, radio, women, ethnic, business, and general interest Halls. HOFMAG.com will also welcome international, national, regional, college and high school Halls of Fame into its website.
Another feature of the site will be HOFTV -- the official Internet Network of HOFMAG.com. HOFTV will offer multiple channels including Hall Tours, Destinations and Event Highlights. Specially produced high-definition programming and video-on-demand will come soon.
