Rich Fineza Joins GSN as Executive Director of Research
SANTA MONICA, Calif., June 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Rich Fineza has been named Executive Director of Research for GSN, the network for games, after serving as Executive Director at OTX Research since September 2004. The announcement was made today by David Primuth, Vice President of Research, to whom he reports.
Based in GSN's Santa Monica headquarters, Fineza will be in charge of the day-to-day research operations associated with the 60-million home cable network. His duties include supervising the collection, analysis and distribution of all regularly scheduled reports, comprising overnights, weekly grids, cumes and other such data. He will act as the department liaison for all research-related requests, work with the department's outside vendors and manage and train staff. Also, he will maintain and analyze research regarding the GSN website, GSN.com, and the company's interactive television efforts involving both one-screen and two-screen applications.
Fineza joins the company after serving two years at OTX in Culver City, CA. In his role there, Fineza oversaw the Mobile & Home Entertainment Research Division, where he lead a team that managed research projects for a myriad of diverse clients including MTV Networks, ABC Cable Networks Group, XM Radio, Mobizzo and Fox Home Entertainment.
Before that, he served as Director of Primetime Program Research at the ABC Network in Burbank, CA. He began his career in syndication research at Paramount Television in Hollywood, CA.
Fineza graduated from the University of Southern California with a bachelor of arts degree in Communications and a minor degree in Film and Television.
