Private Media Group and e-STATION Sign Broadcasting Deal Reaching 3.5 Million New Subscribers in Japan

BARCELONA, Spain, June 27 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Private Media Group, Inc. (NASDAQ:PRVT), a worldwide leader in premium-quality adult entertainment products, services, and new media content, and Tokyo-based e-STATION Co., Ltd. signed an agreement to broadcast Private movies on e-STATION'S satellite TV channels in Japan, reaching 3.5 million subscribers. Private Media Group is expected to receive revenue in excess of $500,000 within the first twelve months under this license agreement.

e-STATION, a leading adult broadcasting company in Japan since 1992, has commenced airing Private movies, via the SKY PerfecTV! Satellite, on each of their three channels: Midnight Blue, Flamingo, and Splash. Midnight Blue -- e-STATION's principal channel -- broadcasts more than 60 titles each month, many of which are new releases showcasing popular Japanese stars. This PPM (pay per month) channel is accessed by individual viewers via satellite and cable TV, and provided to guests in thousands of hotel rooms in Japan. In addition, Flamingo (channel 903) and Splash (channel 907) offer an exciting line-up of PPV (pay per view) erotic programming and movies.

Hideo Shimazaki, Chairman and CEO of E-STATION Co. Ltd, commented, "In my experience, first impressions are very important when starting a new business venture. When we met with Private we were impressed with the professionalism of their team and the high-quality content they provide. We immediately realised the value this would bring to our three channels in Japan and we would like to express our sincere thanks to Private for quickly delivering specialised content for our market. We look forward to extending our mutual business relationship well into the future."

Mr. Takahiro Okano, Executive Chief Producer for E-STATION, added "In light of the relatively strict censorship and cultural requirements in Japan, Private is doing an excellent job of catering to our market by adapting their content and filming Asian-specific movies like Private's recently produced .World Cups 2006.. We can't wait to air this new movie!"

Bo Rosenkvist, CEO of Private Asia Ltd. stated: "Private Asia is proud to work with e-STATION, taking advantage of their 14 years of experience in this growing market. This is a major triumph for us, giving Private exposure on three of the most popular adult channels in Japan. We are fully committed to satisfying the Asian market and we are thrilled that e-STATION is the first company in this region to broadcast our content."

Private is now starting to provide content for previously unexploited markets in Asia, like Japan, by adapting content across all business lines, including: broadcasting, broadband and wireless. Private recently finished filming its first movie production directly aimed to this region, .World Cups 2006., which employs local stars and production teams in order to increase sales potential and boost recognition of the Private brand in these new markets. Private's second movie for the region -- Geisha -- begins production shortly and all three e-STATION channels will broadcast these new productions.

How can the Private Media Group have a spokesman, with the background as Mr. Bo Rosenkvist has. Banned from Denmark and Sweden due to fraud and hunted by creditors, he went to Bangkok with his set of companies, which then were closed one by one due to financial difficulties.

I didn't delieve that a listed company could hire a guy like that...

Thanks
