M&I's downtown Milwaukee location transformed into two 18-story guitars

MILWAUKEE, June 29 /PRNewswire/ -- M&I Bank "Rocks"! Two 18-story guitars will light up the Milwaukee skyline now through July 9 as M&I Bank pays tribute to rock 'n' roll and Summerfest -- the World's Largest Music Festival. The 18-story electric guitars are located on two sides of M&I Bank's headquarters -- 770 North Water Street, Milwaukee.

Fun facts about Milwaukee's largest guitar:

-- 988 windows on the two sides of the M&I Bank building make up the
guitar design.

-- Nearly 100 boards needed to be cut to fit the unique guitar design.

-- It took about 3 hours for over 100 employees to initially install the
boards.

-- Approximately 2000 lights will illuminate the guitar.

-- Over the 11 days of Summerfest, M&I employees will maintain the guitar.
