Jurassic 5 Adds New Tour Dates; Album Feedback in Stores July 25th

LOS ANGELES, June 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Interscope recording artists Jurassic 5 have added to their already-lengthy nationwide tour with new dates in four major U.S. cities. J5 will perform in Philadelphia with rock group 311 on August 15th at Penn's Landing, in New York City on August 16th at Irving Plaza, in Hartford on August 19th at the Webster Theater, and in Boston's Fleet Center on August 20th at the Download Festival. The tour kicks off in Seattle a week before the July 25th release of the group's new album, Feedback, and finishes up on September 13th with a show at the House of Blues in Las Vegas.

On the coming weekend of June 10th, J5 will appear on the popular television program CD USA where they will perform "In the House" and "Work It Out," the album's first single which hits airwaves this week.

Feedback is Jurassic 5's fourth effort, following the acclaimed releases Power in Numbers and Quality Control. DJ/Producer Nu-Mark handles most of the album's production, including the standout tracks "Future Sound," "Red Hot," and "Where We At," which features a vocal bit from Mos Def.

"I think it shows a lot of growth, and I think that we're hitting topics that we've never hit before and a style of music that we've never tried to accomplish before," explained Nu-Mark. "We just try to outmatch each other. We don't really try to compare ourselves to the industry. We just think about how can we one up the last album."

Super producers Scott Storch ("Brown Girl") and Salaam Remi ("Radio" and "Get It Together") and up-and-comers Exile and Bean One also contribute songs on Feedback.

Jurassic 5's renowned live performances have become the group's calling card, an essential part of the J5 experience. Look for rave reviews to continue as Akil, Zaakir, Marc 7, Chali 2na and Nu-Mark return to the stage to introduce the world to Feedback.
