iLoad Commercials Seem to Spoof Apple's 'Mr. Mac' and 'Mr. PC'
You Can Even Vote on Your Favorite
CAMPBELL, Calif., June 15 /PRNewswire/ -- The innovative yet sometimes cheeky folks at Silicon Valley's Wingspan have just released a series of commercials that not only show "How easy it is to use iLoad," but that seem to poke fun at the iPod creator, Apple Computer.
The new campaign consists of 4 new spots, two of which feature gentlemen reported to be remarkably similar in appearance to "Mr. Mac" and "Mr. PC" in Apple Computer's current campaign. When the gentlemen in iLoad's spots are asked, "Why do I have to load my music onto a PC just to get it onto my iPod?" they respond confidently: "Because we're in the computer business!"
"Right. Righhhttt," counters the iLoad Girl, eyes rolling.
Wingspan has applied a real-time voting system to the their commercials page where viewers can cast their votes for their favorite commercial and actress.
iLoad puts music onto an iPod without using a computer or Internet connection and is priced at $249.
