Scripps Board Increases Dividend

CINCINNATI, May 12 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The Board of Directors of The E. W. Scripps Company (NYSE:SSP) has approved a 9 percent increase in its dividend to shareholders.

The board authorized an increase in the company's quarterly dividend from 11 cents ($0.11) to 12 cents ($0.12) per share. The dividend is payable June 9 to shareholders of record at the close of business May 31.
