NEW YORK, May 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Mag Rack, Rainbow Media's premier on- demand television network, will re-launch its popular "Guitar Xpress" music instruction program with a new host and 30-plus new song titles-all originally produced by Mag Rack and filmed at the historic Electric Lady studios in New York City. Re-launching in May 2006, "Guitar Xpress" is hosted by Luther Dickinson, front man of the North Mississippi Allstars, who will also provide music instruction.

The first television program of its kind, Mag Rack's "Guitar Xpress" launched on the network in 2004 with step-by-step instructions for playing popular songs on the guitar. The block quickly rose to become and continues to be one of the most popular with Mag Rack viewers. This year, Mag Rack has produced original on-demand instruction for over 30 songs from an array of genres, including reggae, country, folk, blues and rock.

In January 2006, Mag Rack announced "Guitar Xpress Presents", an original 12-part showcase that takes viewers into the studio with guitar masters to hear about their life experiences and the musicians who inspired their work. Each episode features intimate live performances and archival footage from past videos and concerts. "Guitar Xpress Presents" features The Bacon Brothers, Trey Anastasio, Brazilian guitarist Seu Jorge and The Derek Trucks Band, among others.

Premiering on April 6th, Mag Rack's will bring guitar lovers at home an original companion series to promote the on-demand premiere of 20th Century Fox's award-winning film, "Walk the Line" on the same day. Hosted by Johnny's brother Tommy Cash, Mag Rack's series offers exclusive interviews with John Carter Cash and daughter Kathy Cash Tittle. Mag Rack's on-demand movie promotions combine the draw of Hollywood blockbusters and the power of video- on-demand to provide an exclusive movie experience for television viewers.
