("Cracker Barrel") today released a CD of inspirational hymns by Amy Grant, known worldwide as contemporary Christian music's most popular performer. Titled Hymns For The Journey, this 10-track compilation CD features songs from previous Grant releases that topped the Billboard Christian Adult Contemporary chart.

Hymns For The Journey includes songs compiled from Grant's 2003 Dove Award-winning Legacy ... Hymns and Faith and her 2005 Grammy(R) Award-winning Rock of Ages ... Hymns and Faith releases. Since her debut release in 1978, Grant, often credited with launching the Christian music genre, has sold more than 25 million records while earning multiple Grammy(R) and Dove awards. In 2003, she was inducted into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame.
