Carolina Crossroads Concert Benefits The Children's Miracle Network

June 3 Concert In Roanoke Rapids Supports Non-Profit Organization

ROANOKE RAPIDS, N.C., May 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Carolina Crossroads has announced that proceeds from the June 3 concert at the Roanoke Rapids music and entertainment venue featuring multi-platinum country artists Big & Rich will benefit Children's Miracle Network (CMN) affiliated hospitals, University Health Systems of Eastern Carolina's Children's Hospital in Greenville and Duke Children's Hospital in Durham. These two hospitals, which are part of the larger CMN of 170 hospitals across the United States and Canada, have more than 200,000 pediatric patient visits each year. Donations raised will support capital projects and pediatric equipment including cardiac monitors, as well as directly touch the lives of children through camps for chronically ill pediatric patients.

"The premise of The Children's Miracle Network is that 100 percent of all money raised stays local to benefit sick and injured children," said Rhonda James, CMN coordinator at the Greenville hospital.
