Uganda Broadcasting Corporation Selects JumpTV as Exclusive Internet Distribution Partner
Content and Coverage of the 2006 Ugandan Presidential Election Now Available Online
KAMPALA, Uganda, March 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Uganda Broadcasting Corporation (UBCTV), the national broadcast station of Uganda, has selected JumpTV (http://www.jumptv.com/) as its exclusive Internet broadcast partner for the online distribution of its content.
UBCTV, formerly known as UTV, will broadcast coverage of the Ugandan presidential election along with its regular programming. For a monthly subscription of US$9.95, JumpTV subscribers all over the world can watch UBCTV's breakout shows of 2006 on any Internet-enabled device, including programs like the youth magazine show "Vijana," the animated series "Street Soccer," and "Tonight with Tegulle," a live phone-in current affairs talk show coinciding with the nation's election season.
