TV One Teams Up with Premier Retail Networks to Deliver Lifestyle and Entertainment Programming on the Wal-Mart Television Network

Segments Are Running in Wal-Mart Stores Nationwide

SAN FRANCISCO, March 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Premier Retail Networks (PRN), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Thomson SA (NYSE:TMS), announced today that TV One, a new cable/satellite television network that offers programming primarily to African American adults, will provide lifestyle and entertainment-oriented programming to viewers of the Wal-Mart Television Network in more than 2,850 Wal-Mart stores.

PRN is working with TV One to create programming specially tailored for Wal-Mart TV. This Wal-Mart TV programming will provide lifestyle tips on a wide range of issues including fashion, beauty, home, and personal finance, as well as entertainment-based content that respects African-American culture and heritage and values the intellectual and cultural diversity among African Americans.
