THX Adds 128 New Screens Around the Globe

SAN RAFAEL, Calif. and LAS VEGAS, March 14 /PRNewswire/ -- THX Ltd., the leading provider of technologies, certification programs and quality assurance standards for the entertainment industry, today announced at ShoWest that it has added 128 new screens to THX Certified Cinemas around the globe over the past year. The THX Certified Cinema program continues to experience growth in the emerging markets of Asia, South America and Europe, as well as the U.S. The list of new THX Certified Cinemas includes some of the world's premier venues, such as Century Theatres' Century Bella Terra in Huntington Beach, Calif. and the Kinepolis Nancy, France.
