President Bush's Approval Rating for his Handling of Iraq Falls Significantly
With the bombing of the Askariya shrine and the resulting sectarian violence that has ensued between Sunnis and Shiites in Iraq, more U.S. adults are pessimistic now than two months ago about the situation in that country. Most likely as a result of this, President Bush's job approval rating in handling the situation in Iraq has fallen significantly since January. This according to a nationwide Harris Poll of 2,435 U-S adults surveyed online by Harris Interactive between March 8 and 14, 2006.

National Poison Prevention Week Launch: Young Children Remain Most Vulnerable for Unintentional Poisonings
For the past 45 years, National Poison Prevention Week has worked to educate and inform consumers of the dangers of unintentional poisonings. These efforts have contributed to a significant decline in injuries and deaths.
But there are still about 30 children younger than 5 years old who die from unintentional poisonings each year. Most of these poisonings are from products commonly found in the home. About 85,000 young children visited U-S hospital emergency rooms due to unintentional poisonings in 2004 according to the U-S Consumer Product Safety Commission, the National Poison Prevention Week Council, and the American Association of Poison Control Centers. National Poison Prevention Week kicks off March 19 - 25.
