Fandango Partnering With Cingular on Mobile Movie Ticketing Service

The Nation's Largest Wireless Carrier Rolling Out New Mobile Entertainment Application From the Nation's Largest Movie Ticketing Service

LOS ANGELES, March 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Fandango, the nation's largest online, phone and mobile movie ticketing service (representing nearly 70% of all U.S. theaters for remote ticketing), is partnering with Cingular, the nation's largest carrier (serving 54.1 million U.S. customers), on a state-of-the art mobile movie information service featured on the entertainment deck of Web-enabled Cingular phones. Cingular customers can also dial "* V" to access Fandango movie show times and ticketing, using voice commands as part of Cingular's VoiceInfo service.

Fandango's best-of-breed mobile entertainment application, also available at mobile.fandango.com, was developed in association with wireless application developer Crisp Wireless. At launch, the service enables mobile users to obtain:

* movie tickets within seconds;

* comprehensive movie information including film reviews;

* show times, theater information and maps;

* mobile alerts when tickets for upcoming movies go on sale.

Moviegoers are also able to send a ZIP code in a text message to "FNDGO" (36346) and receive show times and ticket availability for nearby theaters. Future offerings may include movie-related wallpaper, ring tones and games and the possibility of bar-coded tickets on your mobile device.
