Digital Blue is Sending One Lucky Winner to the American Idol Finals in Hollywood!!

ATLANTA, March 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Tim Hall, CEO of Digital Blue, announced today the launch of a national contest with a grand prize that includes an all-expenses paid trip to Hollywood, CA and tickets to the finals of American Idol, America's top-rated television show.

It's easy to enter the "Digital Blue Sends You to Hollywood Contest": contestants must submit their own American Idol singing tape to Digital Blue no later than April 28, 2006. Contestants are encouraged to record their own music video using the innovative Digital Blue American Idol Digital Camcorder(TM) and must be no longer than three minutes long. One entry per person is allowed, and contestants must be between the ages of seven and sixteen at time of entry. Contestants can enter by submitting their video online at http://www.digitalbluecorp.com/ . Five finalists will be chosen by an independent panel and their videos will be posted on http://www.digitalbluecorp.com/ . In true American Idol style, Digital Blue is allowing the fans to decide the winner by voting online. Beginning May 1 and ending May 12, anyone can view the videos on the Digital Blue website and vote for their favorite. The Grand Prize winner will be determined by who receives the most votes. The grand prize is an all expenses paid trip for two to Los Angeles, CA for 3 days and 2 nights including airfare, lodging and two tickets to the finals of American Idol. All finalists will receive their own Digital Blue prize package, including a Mixman MP3 Producer(TM), Flaunt MP3 Player(TM) and an American Idol Digital Camera(TM).
