ATLANTA, March 15 /PRNewswire/ --
WHAT: Atlanta hosts its largest St. Patrick's celebration in its 148
year history. The 125th Atlanta St. Patrick's Parade and three-
day family-friendly festival will honor Irish heritage and
showcase Atlanta. The 200-unit parade includes Irish singing,
dancing and pipe bands with nearly 5,000 participants.
Sponsored by Atlanta businesses, volunteer organizations and
Irish groups, the festival and parade feature entertainment and
free performances. Proceeds benefit children's charities,
including Atlanta Ronald McDonald House Charities and St.
Baldrick's.

Festival at Underground Atlanta (March 16 - 18) will continue
after the event.

WHERE: Downtown Atlanta
Parade begins at the intersection of Ralph McGill Boulevard and
Peachtree Street, continues along Peachtree to Martin Luther
King Jr. Boulevard, and ends at Underground Atlanta.

Parking is available at Underground Atlanta decks and various
downtown lots, including Five Points and Underground Atlanta
MARTA stations.
