Tanya Haider Promoted to Senior Vice President, Nickelodeon & Viacom International Consumer Products

Expanded Role will Continue to Broaden the Availability of Viacom Properties Worldwide

NEW YORK, Feb. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Tanya Haider has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Nickelodeon & Viacom International Consumer Products. The announcement was made today by Leigh Anne Brodsky, President of Nickelodeon & Viacom Consumer Products, as part of the company's ongoing commitment to expand the presence of its $5 billion licensing and merchandising business worldwide.

Formerly Vice President, Nickelodeon & Viacom International Consumer Products, Haider has been credited for establishing merchandising operations in China and Japan and for doubling the NVCP business overseas in 2005.

"Tanya Haider has been instrumental in developing and growing Viacom's portfolio internationally," said Brodsky. "She is leading a team that is integral to the growth of our business as we continue to expand our popular brands globally and assist in the worldwide expansion of our partners like Paramount and Fisher-Price," she said.

Prior to joining NVCP, Haider was Vice President, Strategy and Business Development, for Nickelodeon Networks, where she worked closely with Nickelodeon Consumer Products and was instrumental in the creation of Nick Records and the renewal of Nick's videogame business with THQ. Prior to Nickelodeon, Haider spent five years as an international management consultant with both Corporate Decisions Inc. and Mercer Management Consulting.

Haider holds an undergraduate degree in international relations from Mount Holyoke College and received her MBA from Harvard Business School.

Nickelodeon & Viacom Consumer Products manages the third largest licensing business in the world with $5 billion in retail sales in 2005, from such properties as SpongeBob SquarePants and Dora the Explorer. The department handles the merchandising for Nick Jr., Nickelodeon, Paramount Pictures, Comedy Central, MTVN International, and Spike TV.
