For the fourth year in a row, as part of the "Red Carpet, Green Cars" drive-up campaign, ecoSWAGG (which stands for Sustainability, Wellness and Green Gifts) will be personally delivered into the arms of nominees and attendees chauffeured in Toyota and Lexus hybrids to the 78th Annual Academy Awards. Like no other swag bag, ecoSWAGG proves that going green isn't just easy, it's fun, fashionable and hip.
Approximate retail value of the ecoSWAGG bag is between four and five thousand dollars, a small figure when compared with that of the official Oscar(R) bag, which last year was valued at more than $100,000.
Toyota vehicle ecoSWAGG includes: The Ambrose Hotel in Santa Monica; Arbor Snowboard Company graphic designed bamboo tees; Biota Spring Water, packaged in biodegradable bottles; Ecco Bella chocolates, lipstick and lotion; Ecoganik organic couture clothiers; Edun organic cotton T-shirts; Frog's Leap organic cabernet wine; Loomstate organic denim; Island Press, publishers of Cities in the Wilderness; New Belgium's 100% wind-brewed Fat Tire Ale; Napapijri Geographic fleece outerwear; Shift eco-fashion magazine; Solar Style solar cell phone chargers; Toyota Motor Sales branded solar iPod(R) charges; and The Villages of Loreto Bay, Baja Mexican eco-resort. Lexus vehicle ecoSWAGG will also include a commemorative Red Carpet, Green Cars Pampaloni decanter.
Participating eco-businesses contributed a monetary donation to Global Green USA to further the promotion of sustainable business practices.
