Eutelsat Communications Reports Revenues of 395 Million Euros for the First Half 2005-2006

PARIS, February 15/PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Eutelsat Communications (ISIN: FR0010221234 - Euronext Paris: ETL), one
of the world's leading satellite operators, today reported revenues of 395
million euros for the first half ended December 31, 2005.

Revenues rose 6.4% year-over-year. Revenues (excluding one-off revenue of
17.4 million euros relating to penalties on the ATLANTIC BIRD(TM) 1
satellite[1]) grew by 2.6%[2] year-over-year.

During the first half 2005-2006, Eutelsat Communications enjoyed solid
momentum in data networks and increased demand for capacity for video
applications. Revenues from multi-usage services also registered growth.

- Video Applications revenue rose 1.3%, reflecting notably the continuing
increase of TV channels broadcast by Eutelsat (+75 channel growth from June
30 to December 31, 2005).

- Data Services revenue was up 7.9%, notably due to strong growth in
Value Added Services (+25.8%), reflecting business development with corporate
and institutional customers and sustained activity in emerging countries.

- Multi-usage leases increased 4.2% owing principally to a favourable
dollar/euro exchange rate.

Financial calendar

Eutelsat Communications will report first-half earnings on February 17,
before the opening of Euronext Paris. A press meeting followed by an investor
meeting and conference call will be held on February 17, 2006 to comment on
first half revenue and earnings.
