American Media, Inc. Schedules Noteholder Conference Call to Discuss Form 8-K Recently Filed By Its American Media Operations, Inc. Subsidiary

BOCA RATON, Fla., Feb. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- American Media, Inc. (AMI), the nation's largest publisher of celebrity, health and fitness, and Spanish language magazines, announced that it intends to host a conference call for the holders of the senior subordinated notes of its subsidiary American Media Operations, Inc. In the call, AMI's Chief Executive Officer, David Pecker, and SVP and Chief Financial Officer, Carlos Abaunza, will discuss the Form 8-K recently filed by American Media Operations, Inc.

Separately, American Media Operations, Inc. is in the process of filing a Form 8-K containing its 2006 Credit Agreement and related documentation.
