Prizes Awarded for Creativity and Humor in Home Videos
SAN FRANCISCO, Feb. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- blinkx, the smartest thing on your computer and on the Web, today announced the winners of blinkx's "Battle Royale" -- its first ski and snowboarding video competition, which took place between December 2005 and February 2006.
blinkx awarded the first place to Aaron Dana, who submitted a clip called "Fear the Beer," and the second place to Julie Wong, for her video titled "Oops I did it again 2." First prize is an all expenses paid weekend for two at Northstar ski resort in Lake Tahoe, and the second place winner will receive a gift card to REI worth $200.

Other interesting clips submitted for the video competition ranged from extreme snowboarding footage, to a 10-day backcountry trip from France to Switzerland, to clips of ski and snowboard clubs practicing tricks on the snow, which can be watched at: www.blinkx.tv/gotsnow.
