NEW YORK, Jan. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Mag Rack, the premier on-demand television brand, is once again putting a call out to string-benders of all ages, with the January 12 premiere of an original 12-part series called "Guitar Xpress Presents."

Since its debut in 2005, Mag Rack's "Guitar Xpress" has presented an extensive array of innovative, on-demand programming designed to get aspiring guitarists out of the bedroom and onto the stage. Each month, the service offers up hours of instruction to master a musical variety of styles and classic songs.

With its newest show, "Guitar Xpress Presents," Mag Rack is taking music- lovers on an even more intimate and exclusive journey. The series goes into the studio with guitar masters to hear about the life experiences and the musicians who inspired their work. Each episode also features an intimate live performance by the profiled artist and archival footage from past videos and concert performances.

The "Guitar Xpress Presents" all-star music line-up in 2006 includes:
-- The Bacon Brothers: In October 2005, Kevin and Michael Bacon released
their sixth album, "White Knuckles" (Forosoco Music). Filmed at Gibson
Guitar Entertainment Relations Showroom in New York, "Guitar Xpress
Presents: The Bacon Brothers" is a ten-minute show featuring acoustic
performances of their original songs. Premiere: January 12, 2006

-- The Spin Doctors: Also filmed at Gibson Guitar Entertainment Relations
Showroom (formerly the Hit Factory), "Guitar Xpress Presents: The Spin
Doctors" features the original four members-Chris Barron, Eric
Schenkman, Aaron Comess and Mark White-recently reunited to released a
new album, "Nice Talking to Me" (Ruff Music/Fontana). Premiere:
February 2006

-- Trey Anastasio: November 1, 2005 marked the release of Trey Anastasio's

new solo album, "Shine" (Columbia Records) and Guitar Xpress was there
in the recording studio with the former lead guitarist from the
notorious jam band, Phish. Premiere: March 2006.

-- Les Paul: Guitar Xpress will be catching up with the still spry and
fleet-fingered 90-year old at his weekly musical residency in New York,

at the Iridium Nightclub in Times Square. Premiere: TBD
