Three Local Acts Perform on NBC 10's Emmy Award-Winning Program 'Bring in the Holidays at Longwood Gardens'
Join NBC 10's Renee Chenault-Fattah and Tim Lake From Longwood Gardens as They Host This Holiday Special on Friday, November 25th at 7 PM with Special Guests Singer and Former Teen Idol Donny Osmond and the World-renowned Voices of the Pops
BALA CYNWYD, Pa., Nov. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- NBC 10 is pleased to announce the winners of the Longwood Gardens Talent Competition. The following performers -- one soloist, a dancing duet and a high school string ensemble -- will participate in the sixth annual "NBC 10 Presents: Bring in the Holidays at Longwood Gardens," a live special on Friday, November 25th at 7:00 PM.
Annie Williams, an 18-year-old soloist from Berlin, New Jersey, has been singing since she was six years old. During her career, Annie has performed at numerous community and fundraising events and local theater productions. She now attends Camden County Community College in New Jersey, where she majors in dance. Annie is also currently pursuing a vocal recording and performance career in pop music in New York City.
Cool Rhythms, a dancing duet from Philadelphia, have been dancing together for about a year and a half. Christopher Rivera, 15 years old, and Cynthia Ramos, 14 years old, attend Mercy Vocational High School and John W. Hallahan Catholic Girls' High School, respectively. Christopher and Cynthia are lifelong friends who have performed at several local events and parades.
Central High School String Ensemble, from Philadelphia, is a high school string orchestra with 15 performers between the ages of 14 and 16. The orchestra is led under the direction of Kristy Harp.
Longwood Gardens, located in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania, will sparkle with over 400,000 lights, lavish decorations, thousands of poinsettias and a maze of colorful plants, fragrant flowers, and a spectacular fireworks display! Hosted by NBC 10's Tim Lake and Renee Chenault-Fattah, along with field reports from Lori Delgado, the program will include special guest performances by Voices of the Pops, the featured vocal ensemble for Peter Nero and the Philly Pops, and Donny Osmond, best known for being half of the brother-sister singing act Donny and Marie.
