Subaru Named Official Automotive Sponsor of 2005 International Latino Film Festival
SAN FRANCISCO, Nov. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Subaru of America, Inc. announced today that Subaru will be the Official Automotive Sponsor of the 2005 International Latino Film Festival (ILFF) in the San Francisco Bay Area. Under the terms of the partnership that extends through August of 2006, Subaru will provide operating funds and other support to the organization that ultimately helps expand the depth & diversity of the festival's year-round activities.

The 9th International Latino Film Festival - San Francisco Bay Area starts Friday, November 4th with the U.S. Premiere of the 2005 Malaga Film Festival award-winning film Tapas (Spain, 2005) and runs for 17 days through Sunday, November 20, 2005 with screenings at movie theaters, community venues and university campuses throughout the Greater San Francisco Bay Area.

The 2005 festival will feature U.S., West Coast, and Bay Area premieres, with seventy films from twenty countries, including Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Ecuador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Peru, Spain, Venezuela and the USA. All films are presented with subtitles.
The 2005 festival will be held in San Francisco at the Castro Theater, Mission Cultural Center, Galeria de la Raza, and San Francisco City College, in San Jose at the CineArts Theatre at Santana Row, MACLA and San Jose State University, in Marin at 142 Throckmorton Theatre in Mill Valley, Dominican University of California in San Rafael and the Lark Theatre in Larkspur, in Berkeley at La Pena Cultural Center, in Sonoma at the Rialto Lakeside Cinemas, and in Belmont at Notre Dame de Namur University.
Arriving at the festival in style and with room for the whole family is the all-new Subaru B9 Tribeca.
