'PBS KIDS Sprout' Adds Cox Communications to Growing List of Carriers

Multi-Platform Preschool Destination Shows Significant Growth in First Two Months of Operation

PHILADELPHIA, Nov. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- PBS KIDS Sprout today announced that Cox Communications has signed an agreement to carry the 24-hour preschool network and video-on-demand (VOD) service on its cable systems. Cox joins other satellite and cable operators including Comcast, Insight, and RCN in providing the quality content kids love and parents trust. Cox Communications serves more than 6.2 million basic cable subscribers nationwide and is the third largest cable system in the country. This arrangement will bring PBS KIDS Sprout to more than 18 million committed subscribers.
