Paul Teutul, his sons Paul Jr. and Michael, aka "Mikey", of the Discovery Channel's American Chopper show and owners of the now-famous Orange Country Choppers(TM) motorcycle shop, made the presentation along with Diane Adams, vice president of sales and marketing, and Michael Pisors, brand manager, K'NEX Industries.
Accepting the donation along with the soldiers was Phyllis Criscuoli, vice chairman of the board of directors of USO, New York.
The guys from Orange County Choppers(TM) have introduced the world to the behind-the-scenes, metal-bending action found only in their garage, where they create one-of-a-kind bikes.
For OCC(TM) aficionados, KNEX offers a line of officially licensed K'NEX Orange County Choppers(TM) building sets. Each design has been personally approved by the guys over at OCC(TM).
In addition to the donation, a life-size OCC(TM) chopper made mostly from K'NEX parts will be unveiled at the event, for auction on eBay starting the day of the presentation (Nov. 22) and running for 10 days. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the USO. To bid on the bike, please visit http://www.ebay.com/.
