Prominent Olympians Providing Live Coverage Commentary
SANTA MONICA, Calif., Nov. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- World Championship Sports Network (WCSN), the new sports network devoted to presenting athletes and international sports federation competitions from around the world, will offer live and taped coverage of the 2005 World Artistic Gymnastic Championships from Melbourne, Australia on WCSN.com beginning Thursday, Nov. 24.
For the first time ever, artistic gymnastics fans worldwide will be able to watch unprecedented live event coverage, plus on-demand archived footage and broadcast highlights at WCSN.com. Commentary will be provided exclusively for WCSN by two-time Olympic champion Bart Conner, five-time Olympic gold medalist Nadia Comaneci, and Olympians Tasha Schwikert and Blaine Wilson.
For $9.95, fans will be able to watch the live coverage from Melbourne Nov. 24 through Nov. 27. Fans can also purchase the 2005 Gymnastics World Championships Pass for $14.95 to gain access to archived footage of the 2005 Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships in addition to live coverage of the 2005 Artistic World Championships. Fans interested in pre-registering for the webcast can sign up at the WCSN website, www.wcsn.com. The webcast will also be available for viewing from an archive one hour after it has aired.

Artistic gymnastics is a discipline of gymnastics in which competitors perform short routines on different apparatuses. For women, this includes the vault, uneven bars, balance beam and floor. Men's artistic gymnastics include floor exercises, the pommel horse, still rings, the vault, parallel and horizontal bars. Competitors are judged out of a maximum of ten points depending on the fulfillment of difficulty requirements and perfection of movements.
