SAN DIEGO, Nov. 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Nine Systems, the leading provider of streaming media applications and content delivery solutions, will be used by The Museum of Television & Radio to support its streaming media efforts in launching the She Made It website (www.shemadeit.org), available on December 1, 2005. She Made It: Women Creating Television and Radio is a three-year initiative celebrating the achievements of creative and business women in the television and radio industries. The Museum will honor great women writers, directors, producers, journalists, sportscasters and executives.

Using Stream OS, Nine Systems' suite of rich media management tools, Nine Systems will manage and deliver the streaming video content of the Museum seminar series and other related programming featuring the work of the 2005 She Made It honorees. The She Made It website will also include biographies of the first 50 women being honored, trivia, program information for screenings and seminars and online forums.

"We anticipate by the end of this three-year project, we will have 2000 hours of programming compiled from our existing collection of over 120,000 programs and other additional programming," said Ron Simon, television curator of The Museum of Television & Radio. "As our goal is to make this collection available to the public, we are pleased that we can offer our audiences outside of New York and Los Angeles a streaming media option allowing them to view the extraordinary work of our honorees."

The streamed She Made It seminar series and programming will be delivered through Nine Systems' Network of Networks, the industry first aggregated system that routes all types of rich media across multiple top-tier CDNs.

"We are excited to support the Museum's efforts in launching this website, highlighting and preserving the legacy of women who have achieved outstanding accomplishments in the television and radio industries," said Troy Snyder, CEO, Nine Systems.
