Hollywood Icon Burt Reynolds Narrates Frosty's Magical Movie and Sings a New Version of the Beloved Holiday Song

NEW YORK, Nov. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Classic Media invites kids and families to chill out with Frosty -- one of the most popular holiday characters of all time -- and the release of his first full-length DVD feature, The Legend of Frosty the Snowman.

This all-new animated comedy adventure is based on the original 1969 television classic and is sure to become a new family favorite. Legendary leading man and Hollywood icon Burt Reynolds narrates the movie and sings the popular title song. In addition, Tom Kenny, the voice of SpongeBob SquarePants also stars. Heartwarming Story

Holiday favorite Frosty the Snowman is back in a brand new movie that promises thrills, spills, and (what else?) chills. The Legend of Frosty the Snowman is set in Evergreen, a perfect little town where fun is against the rules. The flowers don't wilt without authorization, the sun begins to shine at 6:00am on the dot, the snow has been plowed to regulation height, and there's absolutely, positively no talk of nonsense, tooth fairies, magic or -- gasp! -- mischief.

When Frosty blows into chilly Evergreen, he's shocked to learn that the kids don't know how to ice skate, pack a snowball, or even use a sled. Frosty teaches the kids to have fun in their winter wonderland, and in the process sets off a kid revolution. Children shirk their chores to play outside. Parents point fingers. Kids take sides.

The evil, ambitious Principal Pankley steps in to take control. He culminates his plan by dethroning good-natured Mayor Tinkerton and making Evergreen more orderly (and less fun) than it ever was. Now it's up to Tinkerton's son Tommy to save his dad -- and the town -- from Pankley, with a little help from his new friend Frosty. Along the way, he'll discover the magical secrets in his family's past and gain the courage to stand up for what's right.
