Travel Back to 1929 at Chicago's Longest Running Dinner Show: Tommy Gun's Garage
CHICAGO, Nov. 10 /PRNewswire/ Tommy Gun's Garage is Chicago's longest running audience interactive dinner theater show. A night at Tommy Gun's is a night in Prohibition-era Chicago, complete with singing, dancing, and musical comedy starring Vito and his gangsters and flappers.
The Tommy Gun's experience begins as soon as the doors open. Gloves answers the steel door to the garage, a tommy gun in hand, demanding "da password." Upon entering, guests are greeted by gangsters and flappers who will serve and perform during the evening. See http://www.tommygunsgarage.com/ for show times.
"Tommy Gun's is da hottest smash on south Wabash where da big cats come out to prowl," croons Vito, the MC, in a Southside Chicago accent. "We love da mobs who come in here. Dey come, dey drink, and dey have fun. Who could ask for anything more?"
Audience members are encouraged to participate and interact with the cast throughout the show. This can even include dressing the part. Patrons can come in their best gangster or flapper attire or purchase dress up items sold at the restaurant. There are even points during the show where audience members are brought on stage.
The nightspot features an extensive collection of 1920s photos, newspaper clippings, and memorabilia for guests to view. Pictures can be taken next to a 1928 Ford Model A car or a replica of the St. Valentine's Day Massacre wall.
One of Chicago's most colorful attractions, Tommy Gun's Garage decor and atmosphere add that extra something that attracts people of all ages from all over the world.
Tommy Gun's Garage is opened 7 nights a week. For show times, prices, and reservations, please call 773-RAT-A-TAT or 800-461-0178. Reservations are required. Group rates and holiday party bookings are available.
