With his diverse 25-year background in brand building, integrated marketing and strategic development spanning the agency, corporate and entrepreneurial arenas, Pazzani's addition to the Elias team signals the start of a variety of new company initiatives, including the expansion of the identity business and development of the company's international business. Prior to joining Elias Arts, Martin Pazzani was Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of Bally Total Fitness in Chicago where he was responsible for all marketing activities for the fitness club chain. For six years preceding Bally, Martin was Senior Vice President, Worldwide Director of The Chess Team at Foote Cone & Belding in New York City where he led a global network of creative business and marketing strategists in uncovering new competitive and consumer insights and applying them to difficult marketing challenges while working with A-list clients on six continents.

Mr. Pazzani was also Managing Director of RocketScience, a New York City marketing and advertising agency and acted as Senior Management Director at several large advertising agencies (DDB Needham, Interpublic Group) where he worked in many categories and industries. He began his career at Grand Metropolitan/Heublein (now Diageo) where he fast tracked from entry level to the top marketing spot in the company, culminating as Chairman of the Marketing Development Board.

In his new position as President/Chief Executive Officer of Elias Arts, Pazzani will be bicoastal, splitting his time equally between the company's New York and Santa Monica offices.
