Exclusive Interview is Part of Special Thanksgiving Day Programming
NEW YORK, Nov. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- In a special Thanksgiving Day segment of Bloomberg Television's(R) "For the Record," U.S. Attorney Michael J. Garcia will appear in his first TV interview since becoming U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York. In the taped interview, Garcia, who prosecuted the 1993 World Trade Center bombing case, tells Bloomberg TV that fighting terrorism and securities fraud will continue to be the top priorities of the Manhattan federal prosecutor. Garcia took over as the federal prosecutor in the Southern District of New York in September.
Also on "For the Record," Bloomberg TV interviews Steve Miller, chief executive of Delphi Corp., about the outlook for negotiations on wage and pension issues with Delphi's unionized workers, executive compensation under the company's bankruptcy plan and the U.S. auto industry.
On Thursday, Bloomberg Television will air "For the Record" in its entirety beginning at 7:30 a.m. ET. The show will repeat every two hours on Thursday, ending at 4:00 p.m. ET.
The interviews will be available to users of the Bloomberg Professional(R) service via AV < GO > as an archived video file.
