Anti-Hunger Group Urges Americans to Remember Hurricane Victims -- and All Those in Need -- This Thanksgiving

The Great American Bake Sale(R) to Be Featured on ABC's 'Hope & Faith'

WASHINGTON, Nov. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Share Our Strength, one of the nation's leading anti-hunger organizations, offers tips this week on how families can add meaning to their Thanksgiving celebrations in the wake of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. Participating in The Great American Bake Sale, presented by Share Our Strength and PARADE magazine, is a fun way to celebrate the holiday and raise money to feed hungry children in your community and in the Gulf Coast at the same time. Families can add meaning to their holiday celebration in a variety of ways -- from preparing a special prayer or discussion to remind everyone present that hunger is a reality for more than 13 million American children, to asking every guest to make a contribution to fight childhood hunger.
