Only 3 Weeks Remaining Until the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra Performs Its Holiday Concert at the Pepsi Center

A Limited Number of Tickets Are Still Available

DENVER, Oct. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Do not let this once in a lifetime opportunity pass you by. Reserve your place in cultural history by purchasing your tickets today. In just three weeks, the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra will perform in Denver for the first time in over 20 years, and its holiday concert for the first time outside of Salt Lake City in over 15 years.

Brought to you by the National Sports Center for the Disabled, November 19th is sure to be a night to be remembered. Tickets may be purchased at the Pepsi Center box office, Ticketmaster, Deseret Book Store (303) 797-3772, Moroni Books and Gifts (970) 493-4895 and LDS Chapter and Verse (719) 278-4897

The NSCD is an adaptive sports and therapeutic recreation organization that was founded in 1970 to teach children from the Children's Hospital of Denver how to ski. Over the past 35 yeas, it has grown into a nationally-recognized agency serving children and adults with disabilities throughout Colorado and the country. What is most unique about the NSCD is that, unlike most other adaptive sports organizations, they accommodate almost any physical or mental disability. They teach lessons in 20 different sports and activities.

The Mormon Tabernacle Choir, one of the largest and best known choirs in the world, has performed before presidents and kings, sold millions of records, won scores of awards and enthralled audiences in more than 28 different countries. Ronald Reagan dubbed the Choir "America's Choir" in 1981 when the Choir sang at his inauguration. The Choir received the National Medal of Arts-the nation's highest award for artistic excellence-from President George W. Bush in 2003. The Orchestra at Temple Square was formed in 1999 to be a companion musical organization to the Mormon Tabernacle Choir.

It also presents its own concert season each year.

The holiday concert will take place on November 19, 2005 at the Pepsi Center. Tickets for the concert are on sale through Ticketmaster, at the Pepsi Center box office and the Denver area Deseret Book store. Music to be performed will be drawn from the Choir's extensive repertoire of over 1,400 different compositions and will include Christmas and Thanksgiving music as well as music from the Choir's 2005 Pacific Northwest tour. All proceeds from the concert will benefit an NSCD charity fund.
