NeWave Spokesman Bob Eubanks to Receive Lifetime Achievement Award From Academy of Television Arts & Sciences

LONG BEACH, Calif., Aug. 4 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- NeWave, Inc. (BULLETIN BOARD: NWWV) a leading online auction and e-commerce solutions provider, announced today that its national spokesman, long time TV and radio personality and three time Emmy winner Bob Eubanks will be the 2005 recipient of the prestigious 'Los Angeles Area Governor's Award'. The award which honors a lifetime of broadcasting achievement in the Los Angeles market, will be presented at the Los Angeles Area Emmy Awards on Saturday, August 27 at the Academy's Leonard H. Goldstein Theatre.

Best known for hosting the long running 'The Newlywed Game' (which premiered on ABC in 1966 and currently can be seen on Sony's 'Game Show Network'), Eubanks began his broadcasting career as a disc jockey in Oxnard, California. In 1964, Eubanks was instrumental in bringing 'The Beatles' to Los Angeles when he borrowed $25,000 to produce the group's concert at the Hollywood Bowl. This marked the beginning of a 20-year concert promotion career that included 'The Rolling Stones', 'Barry Manilow', 'Elton John' and 'Bob Dylan'. During that time, Eubanks became one of the largest concert promoters in America, producing over 100 concerts per year nationwide.

Eubanks is also the long time host of the 'Tournament of Roses New Years Day Parade' with Stephane Edwards for Tribune Broadcasting. His 'Emmy Award- winning' coverage makes the show one of the highest rated programs in Los Angeles. In addition he also hosts the 'Hollywood Christmas Parade' and was the emcee for last year's 56th annual Los Angeles Area Emmy Awards.

In 2000, Eubanks was honored by the entertainment industry when he received a star on the 'Hollywood Walk of Fame'. In 2001, 'TV Guide' voted Eubanks one of the top five game show hosts of all time.

Eubanks has served as NeWave's national spokesman since March 2004, and will be the feature host of the Company's first TV infomercial scheduled for broadcast beginning in September 2005.
