WorldSpace, Inc. Prices Initial Public Offering at $21.00 Per Share
Company to Trade on NASDAQ National Market Under "WRSP" Symbol
WASHINGTON, Aug. 4 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- WorldSpace, Inc. ("WorldSpace") announced today that its initial public offering of 11,868,400 shares of Class A Common Stock has been priced at $21.00 per share. This offering includes 368,400 shares being sold by an existing stockholder. WorldSpace has granted the underwriters an option to purchase up to an additional 1,780,260 additional shares of Class A Common Stock to cover over-allotments, if any.

The common stock of WorldSpace is expected to begin trading on August 4, 2005 on the NASDAQ National Market under the ticker symbol "WRSP."
