Business and Financial Television Market Survey Shows Bloomberg Television Delivers 30 Percent More Viewers than the No. 2 Network
NEW YORK, July 15 /PRNewswire/ -- According to EUROPE 2005, the latest survey on media consumption among Europe's most influential business people and affluent consumers, Bloomberg Television is Europe's most watched business and financial channel. The survey shows that Bloomberg Television reaches 522,000 viewers each week, 30 percent more than its nearest competitor.
In addition to having the number one ranking in the business and financial television market, the Europe 2005 survey also shows that Bloomberg Television reaches the key executive viewers. Over a third of Bloomberg Television's viewers are "C-Suite" executive officers and over 50 percent of its daily viewers are members of senior management. According to the survey, Bloomberg Television reaches 70 percent more "C-Suite" executives at organizations with 50 or more employees worldwide than the No. 2 network, with the majority of its weekly audience located in Europe's "Big-Five" economies.
