The Days of '47 Announces Sunrise Service
SALT LAKE CITY, July 14 /PRNewswire/ -- For this year's Sunrise Service, David Dahlquist, Music Director of the Payson Civic Chorale, has invited the Spanish Fork Community Choir and members of the Choral Arts Society of Utah to participate in a rendition of inspirational music, accompanied by Tabernacle organist Bonnie Goodliffe and narrated by KUTV Weather Anchor Sterling Poulson.
The Payson Civic Chorale has been delighting audiences in Utah County since 1981. They have performed in the Christmas concert series on Temple Square in Salt Lake and the Tabernacle series in St. George. They also accepted an invitation from Dr. Ramon Noble and the Mexican National Chorus to perform in Mexico City, and will be performing in Carnegie Hall in the coming year. Mr. David C. Dahlquist, Founder and Music Director, has been the choral director at Payson High School since 1975 and was recently named "Most Influential Teacher" by the graduating class of 2004. Besides conducting, he is active in Community Theater and has won various awards for original compositions.
The Sunrise Service will be held at the Assembly Hall, Temple Square, at 7:00 a.m. Free Admission.
