NEW YORK, July 15/PRNewswire/ --
- Business and Financial Television Market Survey Shows Bloomberg
Television Delivers 30 Percent More Viewers than the No. 2 Network
According to EUROPE 2005, the latest survey on media consumption among
Europe's most influential business people and affluent consumers, Bloomberg
Television is Europe's most watched business and financial channel. The
survey shows that Bloomberg Television reaches 522,000 viewers each week, 30
percent more than its nearest competitor.
In addition to having the number one ranking in the business and
financial television market, the Europe 2005 survey also shows that Bloomberg
Television reaches the key executive viewers. Over a third of Bloomberg
Television's viewers are "C-Suite" executive officers and over 50 percent of
its daily viewers are members of senior management. According to the survey,
Bloomberg Television reaches 70 percent more "C-Suite" executives at
organizations with 50 or more employees worldwide than the No. 2 network,
with the majority of its weekly audience located in Europe's "Big-Five"
economies.
"Bloomberg Television, supported by the 1,600 journalists in 127
Bloomberg News bureaus around the world, provides a breadth and depth of
coverage that is unmatched in financial and business television," said Brian
Martinez of Bloomberg Television. "The EUROPE 2005 survey demonstrates that
Europe's key business and financial decision-makers turn to Bloomberg
Television for reliable information and business insight."
