Award-Winning Vocal Group Rascal Flatts to Visit Troops Stationed in the Persian Gulf Region on USO Tour
WASHINGTON, July 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Rascal Flatts will soon travel to the Persian Gulf Region to perform for and "meet and greet" service members on a tour sponsored by the USO and MWR at USAREUR-G1. The reigning Country Music Association and Academy of Country Music "Vocal Group of the Year," will sign autographs, pose for pictures and perform several shows for troops serving in the most difficult region of combat activities.

The group's most recent album, "Feels Like Today," is the best-selling country album of 2005, with sales of more than two million copies. The multi- platinum album features several radio hits, including the #1 singles, "Fast Cars and Freedom" and "Bless The Broken Road." The band is currently on the road heading their "Here's To You" tour through Dec. 2005.
Rascal Flatts is experiencing their best career year to date as they have spent a record third of 2005 at #1 on the radio singles charts and album sales surpassed 7 million. Their mega-hit single "Bless The Broken Road" was certified as a platinum digital download and their concert tour is breaking venue attendance records.
