SEATTLE, June 20 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Loudeye Corp. (NASDAQ:LOUD), a worldwide leader in business-to-business digital media solutions, today announced that it has been granted U.S. Patent Number 6,873,877 B1 entitled Distributed Production System for Digitally Encoding Information.

The patent covers, among other things, a method and system for encoding digital information.
